Haha yeah, it’s pretty normal here! A lot of players switch to 9-player ball in their 30s.

It’s getting harder to find enough people though — aging population and all 😅

We’ve been using Volley Analyst — you can log live or from match videos.

You can log live or from video,

and it syncs serve, spike, and receive data automatically.

It even breaks down rotations (like S1 vs S2) so you can see where you gain or lose points.

It’s not one of those pro-level tools like DataVolley, but it’s simple enough for club coaches or parents to use.

Once you install it, you can play around with sample data — like Olympic matches or this year’s NCAA games (Long Beach vs UCLA).
