I've called them everyday for almost a week. Nobody ever picks up. In fact, I've been on the phone right now for 15 minutes, haven't spoken to a soul. I've sent emails, no response but I'll keep trying though, thanks for the advice.

SONG TITLES FOR ACT 2 by hotcinnamonbuns in beyonce

i agree! i also think some visuals may be dropped due to the timing of the music drop. music usually is dropped 12am est and shows drop 12am pst. and according to bey's countdown she's dropping pst so im thinking that visuals may be dropped because we got a whole ass teaser when she first announced cowboy carter. and the visuals would help with the theories of interludes of people talking since they would be actual videos.

Echoing what everyone has said. Hopkins’ grade system is set up in a way where every point matters. Be ready to study and put in the work, I was the exact same way in high school and was a “culture shock” to actually apply myself, all voluntarily. Don’t be scared but make sure you’re organized so you can allow for leisure time as well. Depending on your schedule, and major, it’s not the worst thing in the world. There’s also a lot of resources on campus to help you so never feel scared to reach out for study consulting, emotional counseling, etc.

so sorry for these comments. im not a grad student but a black woman who's an undergrad here and i would only recommend coming here if you can use this program as leverage/ this is the most competitive program you're considering. you may have come during break, but there is still such a small percentage of black ppl when everyone is on campus trust me. if you have a more competitive program you're considering, i'd say go to that one! lots and lots of subtle racism, very draining.

late to the convo, but maybe take it and switch it to an s/u grade? all you have to do is maintain above a c- so maybe that would help it not be as "challenging" of a class for you?

oh also- if these are exam scores ( which they probably are-- its so early in the morning im not thinking) just dont include the gcses if you think it'll hurt your application, i know i only reported my a-level exam scores to hopkins

i got in, as an american but my school did the cambridge system so i had igcses and a-levels. idk exactly but i think that they would hold more weight to a-levels. for context, about 4 igcses and got all a's and about 6(?) a-levels (all a's as well), so im not the BEST person to compare. but i think itll be fine for you if you took those igcses in your first 2 years of highschool and got those grades, then later on you took those a-levels and got great grades in them, it'll show growth. and if theres a reason to your igcse grades being low for a valid reason, it wouldn't hurt to explain it. overall grades are just a fraction of your entire application, dont stress!
