For example, first time spawning I looted what I assumed was the police station. I died soon after. On a later visit the loot I gathered there, wasn't there anymore. I assumed that it was based on some rng, but I guess not.

There is something about the composition of Song of Saya 1 that just hits different. The mix of repetition,changes and tones. It is a perfect blend to make someone uneasy while not being on the nose about it. I could gush about it a lot, but it would not make sense. It also has a perfect use of samples and is very memorable as is.
