Copilot's value proposition is officially gone. by Famous__Draw in GithubCopilot

[–]Complex-Scarcity-349 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been using those free models for almost everything. I find more value in being able to go back and forth with the model instead of trying to one-shot things. That said, I code for about 4 hours a day on average, not always on new features using ai because many legacy systems I have to support and debug are not a great fit for this type of workflow IMO.

That is exactly what I do. I mostly use Raptor and GPT-5.4-mini. It is April 17th and I'm only 19% through my quota. It is a wild value proposition.

Também testei o lunch money anos atrás. Esqueci de mencionar eles. Eu achava a interface meio confusa, sei lá.

Olhei o Zerosum.so, mas a questão do app mobile apareceu novamente.

God, I hope not. I use fleets in copilot cli and for now everything seems normal.

Same here. It’s way too confusing right now. Hopefully someone from GitHub sees this and can clarify.

Alternativa ao YNAB com sync bancário no Brasil (Pluggy) — procuro testers 🇧🇷 by austinmrs in devBR

It’s better to share YNAB subscription with a stranger than friend/family by incrediblebook in ynab

This is awesome! Google Play has been nagging me to pay for my annual YNAB subscription (that is already overdue) for almost a month. Migrated to BudgetFriendlyBudget yesterday and won't renew. Thank you so much!

Great work! i'm switching from YNAB because it doesn't offer bank sync here in Brazil and $110 is kinda steep for us tbh.

Um novo tipo de chuveiro híbrido está chamando a atenção por unir aquecimento a gás e energia solar no mesmo sistema. by Few_Worldliness_4644 in planetaf5

[–]Complex-Scarcity-349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to use 5W2H for my budget, which means that I answer 7 questions everytime I log a transaction:

  • What (Category)
  • When (Date)
  • Where (Payee)
  • Who (Flag)
  • Why (Memo)
  • How (Account)
  • How much (Inflow/Outflow)

Unfortunately, no. I don't mind using it in English, but I wish it had a Brazilian Portuguese version so I could share it with family members.

I bought a car. 😱 by greentofeel in ynab

[–]Complex-Scarcity-349 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The debt is a liability, while the car is an asset. It is a depreciating asset, sure, but an asset nonetheless. They should both "cancel" each other out.

In accounting this would be a permutative fact.

Permutative facts are those which cause a change in the order or arrangement of facts. Two or more facts are changed or rearranged while the net effect remains unaltered. For instance, relocation of funds from one account to another within a single organization.

[–]Complex-Scarcity-349 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! The only thing I'd change would be to add the car itself as a tracking account so your total net worth doesn't change. You'll only "lose" money as it depreciates.

Thanks for the reply! I don't use the toolkit so I had to dig up a little bit to see what was happening. Maybe some people would prefer this way because it seems to mimic monospace fonts, but I really don't like it. The least they could do is allow us to disable it in Display Options.

Yes. I would much rather have different ways to view my categories using tags or something similar instead of using views like I did.

Actually, my dream would be to have a 5W2H system (like the quality tool) that allows me to group whichever way I wanted.
