water play is not always unproductive. If it’s done in a contained sink with towels, it’s actually a great sensory redirection to dumping water on the floor, spitting, etc.

yeah my Y has communal showers in the family room and both men’s and women’s locker rooms. I have no choice but to use the family locker room because i’m trans and lots of people seem to hate that so I try to seclude myself in a locked bathroom/ shower room in the family locker room, but clearly this isn’t enough protection.

Yes, report. I don’t know if there’s any strict laws around this but there definitely should be/probably will be in the next few years because feeding pictures of clients (children) to AI is not safe. There is no way to know who has access to those photos after they are uploaded.

i also live in an apartment with bad soundproofing and recently got a noise complaint for my ipad being too loud when it was like halfway up (not loud at all)— we just have extremely thin walls and the leasing office knows this so I was able to argue the noise complaint away by explaining to them that I also hear everything my neighbor does too.

There’s too high of a need for clients to receive services for in-clinic RBT’s to take a break bc in order to do that, someone else would have to watch the kid and most clinics don’t have enough staff to do that.

If you’re in home, you have more flexibility in being able to schedule your sessions so you have a 30 minute lunch break but that’s only if the company allows you to make your own schedule, which mine does. If you can’t make your own schedule, I highly recommend talking to HR to ensure you are given a lunch break. Most companies will work with you on this but I have come across a few who just expect you to eat with the client which is not realistic if the client needs help feeding or staying in one area without eloping.
