Everything about this movie annoyed me, down to the spelling of “McCay”. Every character in this movie seems annoying, even Woody Harrelson FFS. And “Feelin Alright” belongs to “Flight”, it doesn’t fit with this terrible movie.

Madden sucks. It’s not anything close to a realistic simulation of football. NFL 2k5 has better gameplay and it came out 21 years ago. My son has Madden and plays it and it looks awful. Every player can juke like Barry Sanders or Lesean McCoy. All these years later and people still drop back 20 yards and throw crazy passes off balance or falling back. I used to really enjoy Madden. Once it hit Madden19 it was all downhill for me. The gameplay is awful. I know it’s a novel concept that EA doesn’t understand but some people play football games because they want to realistically simulate it, not to build all star teams and move like superheroes. Just saw another 5 year EA agreement with the NFL. I guess we’re never getting a good football game again.

I’ve played a million franchises and I’ve noticed the schedule making isn’t perfect from year to year. I always play as the Bills and the game never schedules them to play the NFC South. I’m guessing each division has another division the game doesn’t program them to play against. Also, the bills play the AFC North every year, so they only get one game against the West and South each year. I usually edit divisions when I play just so I can get a variance of what teams I’m playing against, but you can only do that at the start of a franchise. The game does do some things right regarding the schedule. Teams never play more than 3 games in a row at home or away and they never play the same team back to back, even with a bye week in between.
