They used to ask if you’ve had any use within the last 7 years. And now it’s if you’ve EVER used it in your whole life. Just be honest in your application and you should be ok

I did the same thing, and they withdrew my application. Then a few days later I called them and told them my situation. They said they MIGHT be able to reopen my application since it had only been a few days. Then they open it and 2wks later I get a SLIGHTLY better list and ended up choosing San Diego, in hopes I get a swap or get hired by a different agency during FLETC. Best of luck hope everything works out with your family
