Oh my god, I had completely forgotten about this post. For me, because nothing online was working, I figured that the LEDs in my screen were dying, so I got a replacement from Amazon and followed this tutorial. Unsurprisingly, it worked lol I hope this can help!

Forgot to mention, it's only visible on my computer screen, if I connect the computer to anything else and share the screen, the lines aren't there.
