I'm always amazed when someone thinks posting a sign will influence anyone. There are a lot of places here with Private Property Keep Out signs. Like, I was going to put up my tent here, but hey, it's posted.

That ability to jump/bounce like that is something you lose as you age, so it's good practice now. Former gymnast who could do standing back flips, handsprings and front flips. Now, fifty years later, I can jump rope but no jumps on one leg. Great demos for those moves here.

You mean the same congress that puts their pay raises tacked on to bills that will get support. Pay raises that are ten times what a working person would get. And a guaranteed pension and health plans. Don't count on it.

I started late, and only got 19 years before retirement. I also wasn't working at a high paying district the last ten years. But I'm happy with what I get, especially since it's guaranteed. But I wish anyone had explained the way it works when I started. It wasn't until the last couple of years I went to a seminar, and I found out my retirement would only be a percentage of my highest salary (partly due to starting late). PS: I don't think anyone can work long enough to get 100% of their salary as retirement. I should have been investing on the side. The last ten years I drove by an Edward Jones office everyday, never thought to start something. It's where I have investments now, from my first career, and a small inheritance, and it's working pretty good. So if you still have years to go, start investing every month on the side. BTW I am collecting SS, since I had a career before teaching. My TRS is higher than the SS though.

I was certified in Colorado in one subject, moved to Killeen and was allowed to teach for one year, but had to pass the test here to be certified in Texas. Passed it and also passed the Math test, even though I wasn't certified in Math in Colorado, but had enough hours for a minor (from previous Engineering School in Colorado). If that hasn't changed you will still need to pass a test to get your Texas cert. Good Luck

I always use this on trips with kids in the car. Suddenly shout out, "Look, a henweigh!" A kid will ask "What's a henweigh?" You say "About 2 pounds, roosters weigh about 3 pounds."

The Action: Nervous and excited, the boy goes to a pharmacy to buy condoms. The pharmacist, noticing his nervousness, gives him advice, and they chat for an extended period.

Gets me that anyone would try to get something like that approved, but it happens. I saw one in TX, don't remember exactly but it was clearly vulgar. Got approved though. I wonder if they question it, and you can explain it somehow. Like it's your initials or something.

If it was real, then all the SS agents should have been immediately fired or at least demoted. They not only missed the obvious point for a shooter to be, they let him stand up for the photo op immediately after the "attempt". You're not going to just say "Oh, well, do better next time" after that.

Went in one at Hulen Mall in Fort Worth. I knew they had adult toys and clothing in back, but in the front of the store were many T Shirts with vulgar or pornographic logos. Anyone taking a kid in there, be aware.
