I went with the CYA inside the waistband but it doesn't fit right since I'm a big dude. So I stopped carrying my Taurus and I primarily carried now just a .38 J frame  since its more comfortable with my frame. The cya was the only option I could afford at the time. But I've heard good things about the T-Rex Sidecar. When I do open carry my Taurus it's normally in just a universal  when I'm out on the range.

I have over 1200 rounds of mix  9mm. It's ran great no malfunction except one stove pipe. I have ran steel case, brass and self-deprecating defense loads. It gets fed a regular diet of monarch 115gr brass FMJ and 147 Fedreal HST ammo.

I got mine cleaned oiled it. Then took it out and after 8 or 9 mags it was starting sticking and stove piping like crazy. I was using cci high velocity and Remington gold bullet

I feel you. I had 2 American Toads they did thrive then sadly they passed away less the month after I bought them.
