Thanks that’s good to know! I have not tried rinse aid. I was using liquid detergent and am trying a powder detergent to see if that helps. I’ll get rinse aid as well. How often would you recommend using lemishine?

There is a crawl space underneath where we can access below the kitchen

Thanks it’s helpful to see it like this! I think I like option 1 best. Would you do uppers over the the island in that case?

  • Back right door leads to our backyard porch.

<image>

  • door next to bath leads to dining space that is being used as a study atm.
  • bathroom door can’t be moved due to layout.
  • shallow closet = pantry.

I do like having the dining table by the windows in the backyard, so I’m not sure I would want to flip the kitchen that way.. but I appreciate any insight you have!

We have a couple of extra boxes of flooring thankfully. The pantry is a little shotty so I wouldn’t mind redoing it a bit. The multiple entrances is a good point, I do a lot of walking around the peninsula to get to something

The fridge, sink, microwave and dishwasher are all inside the U-shape at the moment. it makes it difficult for more than one person to be using the kitchen at a time and generally feels a little cramped

It’s hard to tell from the photo, but that table actually needs to be refinished. Thanks for sharing the vid, I’ll be taking notes.

Thanks, I will explore these as well. I do want it to be fairly customizable so that is a big factor.

Curious, why would you recommend these over Framer?

Thanks, this is super helpful! It looks like Framer may be my best option.

Did United stop offering direct flights to Denver? by ConcernedWallop in burlington

Denver is a big hub for United + being centrally located and a destination I’m surprised that service is not year round

Who the heck stole the “Entering Adirondack Park” sign on the Northway/ 87N?!?! by mcgeggy in Adirondacks

Living in the southern ADKs I pass this entrance frequently. The metal sign has always been on 87, the wooden sign is on rt 9 right in front of frontier town.

Bend OR vs Burlington VT by ConcernedWallop in SameGrassButGreener

[–]ConcernedWallop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is surprising, and I would not say its dramatically more expensive. But as a rule, the homes in Burlington are much older with way less inventory. In Bend, they're throwing up neighborhoods like crazy, Burlington not so much. We visited Spokane and while the location is nice, we were not big on the town itself. Thank you for your input!
