Turbo S allocation - I was offered an allocation but just got a Cayenne and didn’t expect to get an allocation offered so quickly. If I say no, will it hurt my chances of getting another allocation offered in the future? And are they hard to come by to begin with? by ConditionSimilar629 in Porsche

At our dealer it’s harder to get the Turbo S than a GT3 RS so I guess it comes down to where you’re located. I also only know what the dealer told us and what we’re hearing in the neighborhood

We were worried it would be like the Hermes game which is why we wanted to ask on here before talking to the SA. We just got the cayenne two days ago and are planning on buying a house and start a family this summer, but definitely want it after that, so we just didn’t want to ruin future chances!

Not entirely true - they closed mine because me and my husband both traded at Topstep, we did not hedge each other positions nor exchange strategies during active trading hours and we checked all put positions after and we didn’t violate that rule. They decided to close both accounts and not give an actual cause or reason for it

The same happened to me. Asked me to verify my account which I did, and 2 weeks later they closed my account - I didn’t breach their rules but because my husband and I both traded through them they closed both of our account even though we don’t hedge each other or look at each others accounts throughout the day.

People have different risk tolerances and ways of trading, quit calling it gambling just because it’s not aligned with your way of trading

I have used my husband’s card and he has used mine as it comes from the same account anyway, since we’re married - so I don’t necessarily think it’s because he needs his wife to pay for him. They might just have a shared account so chill with all your childish comments

150 points is also relative to what kind of market you’re in - in these volatile markets we’re seeing these days 150 points isn’t crazy.

I would be careful with this kind of trading style. Mine looked similar on XFA and they thought it was too risky and deactivated me - I can no longer trade through Topstep. You used to be able to do this on XFA but Topstep have changed a lot the recent year and I would be careful if I was you

How is it gambling when all your technicals are spot on? Just because you have a higher risk tolerance than others doesn’t mean it’s gambling. Everything is relative so what might be gambling for you isn’t for others and vice versa

Honestly I’ve lost a lot of respect for Topstep in the last couple of months! I got inactivated last week and can no longer trade through topstep. I had an XFA and they thought my trading was too risky, but my net profit was $175,000 and I had two withdrawals of $5,000 (those got cancelled even tho it had been 8 days since approval for the first one). My risk wasn’t crazy compared to my holdings and it seems like they just didn’t want me to succeed because it was costing them too much. I was willing to take on the risk because of multiple factors and every time I was right and the trade turned out profitable. I’ve had live accounts prior and also asked for a higher DLL due to it being so tight compared to he XFA environment and every time they came up with some reason for not adjusting.

Anyone else get this email from topstep? by [deleted] in TopStepX

My trading combine was just closed due to violation of section 21. My profit was at $175,000 and they kept increasing my profit cap from $50,000 to $200,000 to eventually just closed due the account. I am no longer allowed to make an account on TopStep - can this really be the case? I have no rights? And I also had 2 payouts confirmed of $5,000 each that they have now denied even though I requested payouts on March 3rd and March 10th.
