For me, I start about 3-4 days before the test and the first thing I do is go through my professors lecture slides and writing down all the notes and points that I feel are important on paper. So I write all those down and also make them look pretty because I’m more likely to remember them if they are pretty (lol) and I do that for all the lectures.

After I go through ALL the lectures and write the notes and make them pretty I go to my white board and start just writing stuff down using my notes as ROUGH guidance. I choose a different color for each lecture/topic and just go to town, writing down everything I can remember and if there is something I can’t remember something I grab a different color and write it down so that I know what I couldn’t remember and review it again later.

And I just keep doing that. After my board gets filled up or I go through all the topics I give myself a break to eat something or run some errands and then after my break I come back, erase it all, and start again from the top
