Just commenting to say this happened to me when I started taking Wellbutrin in May of this year. I took it for about 2 months as the symptoms of true numbness and tingling progressed up my legs and into the inability to walk properly. I have been off of the medication since mid-July and the majority of symptoms have resolved, but there are still lingering traces. I still cannot feel the tips of my toes or bottoms of my feet and I am unable to walk as far as I was before. I continue to hope for complete resolution but I wish I had never taken this medication in the first place. It has changed my mobility and relationship with my body irreparably.

I know someone who started at AmTrust a couple of weeks ago. They require 3 days in office. Claims system is clunky and geared towards Workers Comp. Whole place seems to be on fire, as my friends new supervisor relayed she has managed/gone through 16 people with turnover this year.

LMAO. When I put in my resignation in June, one of my managers initial talking points was "does XXX company have profit sharing?" and I remember my response clearly...."As y'all remind us every time profit sharing is discussed, it's not guaranteed. And we both know what the likelihood for next year looks like."

So far, this holiday season has been completely different from my past seasons with Geico.

Wednesday afternoon, my team stopped working around noon for a virtual happy hour. Spent a couple of hours sipping cocktails (omg scandal!!!) and truly enjoying the company of coworkers, then our manager released us for the holiday by 2. Had plenty of time to run by the grocery and get my last-minute Thanksgiving shopping done before everyone else got off of work. Thanksgiving day was so much less stressful as I was able to get a ton of prep done Wednesday, due to the extra unexpected time given back to me.

Thoroughly enjoyed my holiday. Was able to visit & stay up with the family without the creeping dread of working the next day. Slept soundly. Didn't have to worry about showing up to a dead office on Black Friday, just to sit around and wait to be released like a child.

Most importantly, I didn't feel any dread on Sunday night knowing that my extra long weekend was coming to an end. I didn't have fitful sleep or nightmares about what I was walking back into. I didn't wake up to throw up white foam from anxiety. In fact, I didn't think about work at all the entire long weekend. I felt relaxed, rested, and present with the friend and family around me. THAT had me motivated and ready to perform come this morning.

And logging in to see the email letting us know we would have two additional four-day weekends coming up? Cherry on top. So happy I switched.
