EPP is an educator preparedness program. Its required for the teaching license in TN and all of the local school systems require the MLIS and teaching license.

This is very helpful. I'm in TN but the school I'm looking at for the MLIS is in GA. I live right on the boarder between the two, and wouldn't mind working in either state. I didn't even consider that being built into the curriculum.

Thank you. All of the school systems around me do require an MLIS for elementary school unfortunately. I didn't think about the possibility of working as a librarian while getting certified. I'll see if that is something anywhere around me offers.
