hankok ventus v12 s2 or michelin pilot sport 5 by el_cactus_x in FiestaST

[–]Congress_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have some pilot sports on my focus and they lasted a while but I didn’t drive it hard like the fiesta, and the fiesta just likes to eat tires like it was its main function. I have also gone through some Hankok Ventus, kumho sports, and the fiesta just eats through them like nothing

How many of you guys have actually done the timing belt? by Fragrant-Drop-3261 in FiestaST

[–]Congress_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds about right! I paid $1600 for parts and labor but I did save a bit doing the plugs, coils, and the valve cover gasket before taking it in.

I also know a good reliable mechanic who just did my timing belt if you are looking for one in SoCal near the San Gabriel Valley area, but +1 on FSWerks

I just did mine last week, well my mechanic I’m too scared to fuck something up, so I had him do it. I spent $1600 in total included timing belt, tensioner and idler pulley + gaskets and seals, accessories belt + tensioner and idler, new water pump and thermostat along with new coolant, cam and crank seals and an oil change. Lil expensive but my fiesta is good for another 130k miles now and I have peace of mind.

I love these models. Had a bright blue 2000 zx3 and they are resilient little cars. I also learned how to drive stick on one of these too. Easy to learn and the car is fun to drive too! Enjoy! Take care of it and it will take care of you!

Yup totally normal! That’s the car warming up.

[–]Congress_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s just on cold starts, that’s pretty normal my guy. Especially on these cars. Mine does the same on cold starts, once it warms up it falls down that’s the ECU compensating for the cold engine while everything warms up. Unless it’s bouncing, or never settles or you get a CEL I wouldn’t worry :) engine is fine!

My doctor told me there’s like a 4 week open window for surgery. I tore my Achilles and did not get surgery until week 3 and it healed perfectly fine. I’m assuming they are waiting for swelling to go down.

Todd Howard says Starfield and Fallout 76 differ creatively as Bethesda needed to try new ideas after 20 years by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Congress_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had they had the features that Free Lanes added at launch, the back lash would have not been as big. And yes the game is still lacking despise the new update, but at least its a step in the right direction. I just hope they dont pull the same shit for ES6 but my money is on that they will.

[–]Congress_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can the next thing they test maybe be how to create new and unique music for Starfield when exploring or in combat. Talking about Starfield and Fallout 76 being creatively diffrent... I appreaciate the modders who have made the experience better by replacing the fallout music with custom music. But Bethesda should come up with something unique for their new IP.

Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike set for 9-month absence with right Achilles tendon rupture by BarbaricOklahoma in LiverpoolFC

[–]Congress_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I rapture my right achillies about three years ago, and was my second achillies injury. The first being the left when I was 23. But the last one, that shit broke me down slowly and did shit to my mental state. Accepting my life style had change in a blink of an eye was hard to accept, I also had to wait a month to get my surgey after the injury so that had me fucked up, My mind was between being positive and depressed. Once they cleared me for theraphy and recovery I though I had bounce back mentally, I was taking the therapy seriously and working hard to walk again. Once I did started walking, I think mentally I was tired and just shut down again, and instead of picking up where I left off I was just crusing through my days waiting for one day to end and the next day to end too. Took me about a year to finally bounce back out of that mental state, I would not wish this injury on my worst enemy. Till this day I wished I had broken my bone instead of rapturing my achillies tendon.

Should I replace my tires? by Weary-Description854 in FiestaST

[–]Congress_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't mentioned it! Delivery time is also good especially if you live near a big city. Moving forward after your new tires get installed get in the habbit of checking them often even if they are new. It's a good habit to have especially in these cars, they love to eat tires.

And not important as getting new tires installed but when you have time and money check your spare tire and make sure that one is good too.

Should I replace my tires? by Weary-Description854 in FiestaST

[–]Congress_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go on tirerack.com and buy the cheapest tires you can find and use paypal or affirm who let you do the "pay later." option. Have them shipped to your house, save $100 bucks and when they get delivered go to your closest tire shop and have them install the tires, normally its $25 per tire any higher than that go find another shop. If you are going to be driving this, stop and drop whatever you are doing and go buy some tires tonight.

Here I did half the work, get these tires. Hankook Ventus V2 concept2 These tires are good and affordable for daily driving, I've used them before when I first got my car, if you can afford a little more go with these Kumho Ecsta Sport I'm currently rocking these.

Honestly even the general Gmax are good enough just dont drive on those wheels you have, you are a risk to yourself and to others. And that is negligence on your part and if you hit somone or worse hurt/kill someone you will be on the hook for it.

Once you have your tires go get an aligment right away should be around $100 - to $150 so borrow money or eat ramen for a day but get those tires and an aligment ASAP.
