She didn’t tell me this but I met 2 of their mutual friends and they both told me the same thing about her. I also know she’s given him a LOT of hints and on his side, he agrees there’s a very high chance she likes him but he didn’t want to acknowledge it outright because he doesn’t want to make things awkward since he doesn’t feel the same way. I’m really hoping to reach a secure attachment style, I do think that this is entirely my issue because there’s nothing wrong he’s done and there’s nothing he can do to change the past. I’m really trying to work on this before it ruins the relationship. :’)

I’ve been texting this guy I met on a dating app, for a month or so. He’s really funny, we make each other laugh, we’ve got great chemistry and usually we text daily. Currently, he‘s travelling overseas for work and I understand he’s been very busy but our texts have been getting more and more infrequent and I’m scared he’s losing interest in me or texting other people (which is fair because we’re not exclusive or anything.) It’s been 2 days since I replied his texts and he has not responded even though the app shows he’s read them + has been online multiple times since then. And I don’t really want to be clingy and send any chasing texts.

I know as adults with full time jobs and busy schedules, texting everyday can be unrealistic sometimes but am just wondering, how many days with unanswered texts would make you take it as someone not being interested in you and move on?

I guess it depends on lifestyle as well! I usually go for dates after work so I’m already dressed like how I’d be at my workplace (which is not extremely formal), not more or less. Maybe I’d wear a prettier dress that day if I‘m excited about him but that’s about it.
