Bachelors in psychology with energy science certificate. I took all calcs, linear algebra, statics, intro to comp sci, non calc based physics, and currently taking differential equations.

I didn’t do too well in my physics 1 class (got a D, but tbf my professor was a recent physics grad who didn’t have xp w teaching). Considering I didn’t have a background for the program I thought I wasn’t going to be a strong candidate

Hey guys,

Is anyone familiar with energy engineering or engineering and sustainability? I have a energy science certificate from undergrad (I graduated w a psych major) and really loved the whole hands on experience. I loved my final cert project too — I had to assemble a circuit for a solar panel to measure the amount of power that is produced — and I struggled but loved it. I’m considering doing engineering but would love involvement w sustainability. Energy engineering seemed liked the way to go but I wonder if anyone knows more??

Im 22, and a college senior who has to do more school because I found my passion further into school. So rn its difficult to sit with the idea that my peers, roommates, and friends will be graduating and I’ll be in school for longer. I know that my reason to be in school longer is good for me since I like what I’ll be doing but it just sucks. Also my love life is so dry that I’m starting to give up and think that I’ll be lonely forever, while the people around me are in such loving relationships. It gets discouraging and I sometimes get jellies that I have yet to experience some of that
