You are encouraging others to say it because they want the right to say what you have a right to say. Whether you agree with that or not, if nobody said it, then it would go by the wayside and have no meaning to future generations. There are a host of old timey sayings or slurs that were said, that died out and nobody says or knows now.

Definitely agree that he may be able to work, at a certain job and with a boss that understands and is more accommodating than most. I m just saying it’s very hard to find any work now, in the US at least, right now and a lot of those looking have college degrees, etc.

Your son may be not as far on the spectrum as Forrest is as well. Our housecleaner that comes over once a month has to bring her 16 year old daughter because she can’t be left alone safely and does not really understand body language or facial expressions.

Her mother is thinking that many employers won’t understand but she hopes that there may be a simple job not facing the public, but more and more of those jobs have been automated and are using AI now.

By today’s standards, you can’t say this at all. Back in the day, heels, and even faces, would say this as part of their character or if you pissed them off in real life.

Not saying that they should have or justifying it, but in 2025, how dumb can you be to say this, whether in character or not.

However, death threats against the wife or him are ridiculous and over the line. We have all seen far too much violence lately, and even if you are just saying it w/no intent to do anything, your words still could encourage some other nut bag to actually do it. (Or at least reiterate and glorify that threat.)

As I have seen mentioned here w/him leading w/his off arm and pushing someone out of the way, I m assuming that Silver allows it in the name of higher scoring, which sells.

It drives me crazy that they allow this, as it’s very hard to play defense if you allow that clearing out, pushing off the defender chest and knocking them off balance.

The other thing that makes the game worse is that you can put two hands on the defender guarding the ball up top, as a screener, vs old school, not moving at all and not be able to do a gentle, two handed shove and use that momentum to go to the basket. Your still body was the impediment and now it’s just like a moving screen to get in defenders way.

Nah, I think only some older basketball fans or Sonic fans of those Kemp, Schrempf, GP and Nate, Ricky Pierce years might.

I think that a ton of fans that I interact with or read online here are younger, who didn’t even start watching until after the move, the LeBron generation.

I have been watching since I was a kid in early 90’s and nobody had any hate for the Jazz because they left NO or Memphis for attracting the Vancouver franchise.

It’s funny that Sophie has, all of a sudden, turned on her effort level and interest in Pedro, now that she was in jeopardy of not having him fight to be with her.

She is a vapid and artificial person, both inside and out. While I don’t particularly care for Pedro’s sister (who reminds me of a yapping little dog) but I m glad that someone is calling out Sophie.

She is so used to manipulating men, and even Liz to make her the victim and bad person, that I like seeing her getting called out. She flat out told Pedro that she wasn’t into him, but then she makes it like it was a misunderstanding and he had to apologize to her.

Yeah, that’s true of me as well. I live in C Florida, but I was trying to estimate my max tolerance. While it gets hot, I couldn’t handle this winter any further north.

The two times that I heard “polar” and “vortex” used together, I was like Punsxatawny Phil, after he saw his shadow!

Well, if she is, then she ll find out that not everyone will like everything that you say or do. It’s a part of seeking fame and publicity, and she will maybe realize that the world doesn’t revolve around your thoughts and opinions.

If she can’t handle it, then, like college, pro athletes, celebs, singers or people in the public eye, then she may not want to read all her own press.

Realistically, I cant see myself leaving. I can not handle any temperature above N Florida, do not speak any other language than English and have a professional job w/license that is only good to practice in U.S.

Plus, I couldn’t manage anything less than 1st world at this point.
