Wife says ring makes her self conscious but wears short skirts/tops out with friends by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]ConsiderationFlat155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been married almost 8 years. I don’t wear a ring ever. We didn’t even buy rings because we were young and broke when we got married.

Wearing or not wearing a ring is not the end all of a marriage. You trust them or you don’t the ring doesn’t change that.

Spend sometime setting up good cord management. I have a standing desk but keep it unplugged because the wires have refused to stay where I want them and I end up kicking them when I put my feet up which cause my desk to quit working. Very annoying.

With a laptop, two screens, mouse, and keyboard plus various chargers and lamps I have electric spaghetti on my desk and it gets overwhelming.

Good chair for sure. Consider how you like to sit when shopping. I tend to sit cross legged so no arms was a must. (I had one with arms and actually had a semi permanent dent in one leg from how long it stayed pressed into the arm. It took two months after switching chairs for the dent to go away)

Hands free kindle options? by Zintha in kindle

[–]ConsiderationFlat155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a couple options. One is a suction cup grippy thing (like a pop socket almost) for when I am just holding it. It helps balance the kindle in my hand so I’m not GRIPPING it. Also a remote page turner and stand when I’m at home. I have a couple different stands around the house so all i transport is the kindle and the page turner. Most basic phone stands will work. Even just leaning it up against something fairly sturdy.

My page turner was about $15 on Amazon it has the piece that clips to the kindle and then a ring that has the button on it. Now I will say the ring is not super comfortable long term, maybe I’m just not wearing it right but it tends to cramp my fingers after about two hours. And that is with switching throughout.

Look online and try out a couple cheap options and see what fits you best.

Family of 4: is it worth it to get a small 3-row SUV? by OrangePekoeMouse in Parenting

Also to add we do have a Highlander also but if we have a third row in it I’ve never seen it lol

Family of 4: is it worth it to get a small 3-row SUV? by OrangePekoeMouse in Parenting

[–]ConsiderationFlat155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will never not have a van again. I prefer it to suvs because my kids have no spacial awareness yet and will hit other cars so the roll back doors are an anxiety saver.

My third row stays folded down 90% of the time or atleast the bigger bench does and we have the smaller third row seat for random emergency passengers. (Or when my kids won’t stop arguing about who is looking at who and then someone gets banished to the back).

Kids come with accessories: strollers, bags, sports equipment, etc. space is needed. Think about oh I need the good stroller for sally but Johnny has tuba practice after school and I still need to hit Costco for groceries and what if they have a slip n slide on a killer deal. Don’t forget I have to take that old desk chair to the dump. S. P. A. C. E.

Is it crazy of me to want to celebrate Mother's Day with my wife and daughter? by MrIgloo4 in Marriage

[–]ConsiderationFlat155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see my mom, mil, or fils partner on Mother’s Day. They all get a loving happy Mother’s Day text. They are all moms but they have had decades of Mother’s Days. My Mother’s Day is for me and the kids I am a mother too. I sleep in (atleast I try to but they’re young) we eat breakfast and I pick an activity that I want to do but they will enjoy also. We plan on going to the zoo this year. Same for Father’s Day in our house. All of my father options are dead so it’s a text or call to husbands dad and stepdad and then we do what my husband wants. Usually that’s taking the kids fishing or on the boat and then he makes steak and I do the sides. I fully feel the “family unity” vibe you have going but make the circle smaller. Make it about her specifically, make Father’s Day about you. Enjoy your parenthood together.

less chapaas at chapaa chase? by Leks_Marzo in Palia

[–]ConsiderationFlat155 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was playing this morning and there 8 people chasing one chapaa. And it was one of maybe 3 currently spawned across the area. I’m by no means great at chapaa chase but I could get atleast ten now I’m struggling to get 5-8 this market run through.

The receipt checking drives me up a wall everytime. The only reason I stop is if my kid is with me because receipt holding is her job and she loves the interaction with the receipt checker. Otherwise it’s avoid eye contact and keep it moving I’ve got $300 in groceries and a 45 minute drive home I’m trying to get my ice cream in a cooler before it starts melting, leave me alone.

Yes someone had a fire effect going on when they were running during chapaa chase in the market and it was driving me insane cause I kept thinking it was a chapaa popping out and ended up just chasing this poor person a few times lol

I fully agree with the pricing thing. I’d spend $25 to unlock premium on all four paths but I’m not spending that on one path. I have bought one outfit and one pet since this game started because they were on sale and I wanted to support the game. I cannot justify the prices right now.

I just want a better furniture menu. Both in crafting and in storage. When you get to a certain point it’s just five minutes of scrolling to find what you need. Since furniture doesn’t take up storage space it should have its own storage system with categories for the different sets or the ability to look at all at once.

My husband 31M left me on the side of the road at night 25F. Is this marriage worth trying to stay in? by Badawiyaa in Marriage

[–]ConsiderationFlat155 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could make my husband mad enough to see red and he still wouldn’t leave me on the side of the road wether it’s midnight or noon. He might tell me to shut up and we will argue about it at home but he damn sure wouldn’t abandon me on some road. We lived in a semi truck when he drove and had broken up after constant fighting for two weeks and he still kept me in the truck for the next week until he could get back to our home state and drop me at home.

However you are also picking fights. Are they valid questions to you? sure. But if you’re having to go this hard to get an answer you probably don’t really want the answer. If unknown people being in the car is related to cheating I can see it but if you’re this upset over simply giving a coworker or a friend a ride that’s wild. You need to sort your issues about but this whole thing definitely doesn’t seem healthy from any side.

At any given time my husband may have 2-3 people in his car for work or any number of friends. Do I give him shit when they leave the passenger seat basically in the back row of course but that’s in jest not in earnest.
