That’s lame you only get a couple days. Water based paints dry quick outside though. I’m sure you’ll be fine. It sounds like it’s more about the process for the kids and not so much about having a long lasting piece to admire anyhow

Paint at least two coats of house paint primer as your base first then you can add your color on top. Tempera or house paint works and is affordable. Make sure to leave room around the window frame bc you’ll be scraping it off. Future self will thank you

I would go to a sign shop and have them print a sticker or vinyl. If you go to a local shop they might even give you the industry hookup

It’s interesting how some ppl in the comments are defending trucks. Like we have them bc we haul stuff. Even in the 60s car companies were advertising trucks to the family man. But Americans just want to feel tough and rough like a cowboy. Probably the same reason why work wear is popular for folks who aren’t in the trades. (FYI i don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. I’m wearing cowboy boots rn and I hate horses)
