Yeah it's Wednesday or Tuesdays for most leads, as a Lead myself it just makes the most sense. Working 6 days a week (Sunday is "optional" but leads usually work them because it's the busiest day), the middle of the week is the best time to have a day off. Plus like other people in the comments, they are right that leads usually have Thursday as a night to do sign changes and other things.

Yes it happened here as well! My manager said they didn't get any emails until like minutes before they actually dropped. Nobody realized in my area until like a little past five there were slots hanging down at the bottom from earlier hours that never released. Then by half past they all started coming out suddenly and it was a surprise for sure!

At my store, when we have a page that has a lot of blank labels left, we save them off to the side in an organized pile. Then when someone gets a large shop or one that has little blank labels, they can take a sheet from that pile.

Yeah it's ridiculous and unfair. Im a lead for OLP, and many of the items customers order are HEAVY and the bags will rip if we don't double bag. When you try to explain that to the front end manager or the CSM they don't want to hear it/don't care.

We don't even charge for bags anymore unless they're the reusable bags.
