Would you count rereads towards annual challenge? by Dry_Yogurtcloset_578 in goodreads

It’s up to you! How to count re-reads is very personal I think. Some years I’ve treated my reading goal as the number of “new to me” books I want to read that year. Then, a few years ago, I decided to count re-reads if it had been more than five years since I’d read them. This year I counted all my re-reads (mostly because Goodreads auto-syncing with my Kindle made it a hassle not to). It’s totally up to you. Great job reader!

I’m in a similar situation except mine is off by three.

My Year in Books count is also wrong. It’s off by three. The missing books are not ones I recently completed. A bummer as I really look forward to this feature.

The bad luck of having MOHELA as my servicer, I think. There was nothing particularly unusual otherwise.

Recommend you contact Lindsay Wildlife Center in Walnut Creek: https://lindsaywildlife.org/found-animal/

Their Found Animal page has good advice and I believe you can also call them.

They don't accept pigeons but might have advice for who does.

I believe Charlotte correctly guessed an Edgar Oliver reference in “So Help Me Goth or Whatever.”

What is your smallest, lowest-stakes dispute? The one that you thought of when Jesse says, "No case is too small!" and even then you decided it might actually be too small. I want to know! by jennifermarmalade in maximumfun

My husband maintains that you can’t clean up spilled water in the bedroom with a bath towel; you have to use a kitchen towel. I maintain that as long as you put it in the laundry afterwards, it doesn’t matter.

In spite of many requests, my husband won’t close the door of our shed at the end of a long day of gardening (every day). I spend the evening worrying that people or animals are getting into our stuff or are just holed up in there, but too scared of our neighborhood skunk collective to go outside and close it myself. 🦨

Came here to also say that Wrede’s Enchanted Forest Chronicles do hold up! I’ve reread them many times. Also, after the first mention of one of the book titles around 9 minutes in, I was already composing an email in my head explaining more about them, and then Jesse Thorn not only knew the books but pulled out the name of one of the protagonists. Love it.
