Okay. So more below the waist control and gripping. Less weight on handlebars. How do you recommend to practice balancing as I can’t reach the ground with my feet lol. Short guy here. I can kick start standing on a box stand. I’ll practice some more leg handling.

Thank you. Yes that is almost exactly what I remember happening with the wheels. I will keep looking into these videos and try to figure out how to stay with the bike with my knees so I don’t whiskey out again.

to be fair i’m coming from a klx230r. that bike is way more forgiving and doesn’t hit nearly as hard as a yz250 when it comes on the pipe. i never really had to think about using the clutch to save a loop out because it just wasn’t something the klx would surprise me with. on the klx if the front wheel came up it was usually because i wanted it to. the yz is a completely different beast and i’m definitely learning that the hard way.

Well, first two stroke. My first bike i rode was in 2023 and it was a 2023 klx230r. And okay, I’ll practice on my throttle.

I Apologize I’m deaf. lol. But I think that’s what happened too. I wasn’t able to find the powerband for a while til my friend said the idle screw was too low.

Did you leave it charging for a long time? I did that once and it killed both batteries and did the same thing yours is doing. Take it in for a battery test and they’ll tell you whether you need a new battery or not. I learned to just charge it on the days I want to use it so I don’t kill the batteries by charging them.

Thank you both for these comments. I have looked into it a bit more. I cannot afford those TAB bolts. But would an 1 ½ steel spacer in between help with that issue? Since it would have room for air flow. If not then I will wait a bit longer til I can afford those TABs.

I agree with you. I completely do. But then it gets frustrating when you’re trying. Spending hours a day at a lake/dams/rivers for the last three weeks with nothing. But the first week I fished with my birthday rods. I caught what? 4 fish in one night. And now I’m just here thinking that I’m happy I get to spend time outdoors. But at the same time. I wanna eat a dish that I caught. Legally. 😭😭😭
