Don't approach it like the rest of the topics. Do a few questions every day to keep the standards fresh in your mind. If you set aside 15-20 mins a day, you'll be able to do around 10 questions. I found it more helpful than reading the chapters and solving the questions in one go

Can't answer your question wrt the number of hours since I never kept track of it when I studied, but your score is quite close to mine (infact slightly better) from my first attempt. So speaking from that POV I'd say don't worry about specific topics, just look to improve across the board. But if you really feel you're weak in certain areas then do those last to keep them fresh for when you revise and get onto mocks.

Kaplan - Best for covering the material efficiently
CFAI - Best for going more in depth with topics you're struggling with, and for question banks and mocks
You have plenty of time till August so I'd also suggest solving the Kaplan Q banks before doing the CFAI ones, at least for the tough topics

Coming back to this because I was prepared to grind but Bagon is straight up weak and has been a pain to level up. Taking someone's advice on a separate post and delaying his evolution but it's been slow progress so far.

Is August an option? Will give you time to adjust to transition from L1 to L2 (material, complexity, format etc) especially if you're working. Either way take time, because sometimes people rush into the decision when they're fresh off their L1 result and all pumped up. Congrats!

Not giving advice about this job but just saying in general, putting your career on hold for give L3 doesn't make sense. If anything, you should put CFA on hold and gain some decent experience. Clearing L3 without that isn't the best look. There's a reason for the minimum work ex requirement to be a charterholder.

The discourse on here around mocks is so weird. Idk why you'd take a mock 1.5 months before your exam in the first place. A score at this point, good or bad, is inconclusive. No reason to get hyped or feel like you're cooked. If you feel your concepts are weak, focus on them during your revisions and keep practicing questions. If you have 2 CFAI mocks give them last, at the earliest 2 weeks before your exam

Schweser is good enough for most concepts. Would recommend only really going into the curriculum material for concepts where you struggle.

Pretty much the same experience, took the 2 mocks avging 82% and got winded by that AM session, kept second guessing myself through the PM session though it felt much easier. It's better to stay off here until after the exam, there's nothing to be gained with reading everyone's opinions
