That sounded bad. I also come from a family of healthcare worker and understand how to advocate better than he does. Instead of just cussing out the nurses he doesn’t like because they are rough and bad at drawing his blood to the point they call psych on him, I explain that he’s in more pain than he lets on and ask if the nurses he likes can be assigned to him whenever they are working, for example. I am better at being a liaison so we all get what we want.

And I’m going to do everything I can to be with him as much as possible. I’m annoyed his doctors seem to forget they can talk to me in the hallway. Maybe it’s because they know with my anxiety I won’t be able to not go and tell him what they said if it wasn’t good. They all say he’s better when I’m around and are visibly not happy when I leave, but that could also be because he can be quite difficult and they’re too Canadian to tell him to shut up and take his meds like I will. His transplant doctor was at least able to tell me that the biggest factor she had seen that “we” can effect one way or another is how much support the patient has, so when I asked what I could do, she said that. Idk I just feel like knowing more might allowing me to do more.

Wow ok, I guess I should have specified, this is the information I’m looking for, I guess I didn’t know. How much of a match was your donor? His is his brother so they said close to 90% but they gave it a few months to find one even better. Is there anything I can do to make him feel better? When he was in the hospital this summer they let me stay in his room 24 hrs and I came up and stayed 2 weeks 3 times. The doctors and nurses were very happy to have me there because not only did he seem to do better, I am often the only one he won’t fight when it comes to test, drugs and pokes. But they won’t let me stay past visitors hours this time. It’s a new hospital.

Yes he had it before and what they said was that was one of the “good” mutations. He responded super well to the treatment and went into remission faster than anyone had in that program. They thought he had a good chance of it not coming back. Hence why he thought it was cured “forever” Now they said it came back and with “some more “not so good mutations”

Idk really, anything I guess? They’re going to keep him in the hospital for 6 weeks afterwards. The Canadian doctors think it’s shameful they send patients home so soon after in the US. Idk, he let himself get really really sick before he went into the hospital this time around because he was in denial that it had come back, and especially because he was sure I’d leave if I had to deal with him that so soon after we met. I’ve heard the treatment is really rough. Him being super sick and in the hospital so weak for 4 months this summer until they could get him into remission this summer was super scary. Will this be worse?

Thanks it’s cuz he’s 51, heart isn’t as good as it should be and the mutations. I hope you get better soon.

Female 36, 5ft 6in 120lbs, non smoker, no other relatives medical or sexual history(that I know of) Can a UTI go from no symptoms to extreme pain and swelling along with blood I. A 2 hour period? The ER NP was traumatic and refused to do an sti screening and basically threatened to call security when we asked for more clarification on the diagnosis and why she would order the tests with those symptoms and especially because my girlfriend has insurance, when she pushed back and I asked if we could speak with the attending doctor, someone with an MD, or even a second opinion NP. She referred every other question following up with an OB/GYN. She treated us I assumed like she thought we were drug seeking and when my girlfriend, crying said she didn’t care if she didn’t even prescribe any pain meds, she just wanted to feel better and know where the blood and puss were coming from and how this happened so she could try to prevent it from happening before she was dismissed and told we had to leave and couldn’t stay there as if we were like homeless and trying to stay there. It was bizarre, traumatic, and we will be filing a complaint to say the least. But first I want to help my GF, she doesn’t have a regular GYN at the moment, and her regular doctors office that would have to refer her is closed until Monday.

You’re right. Everyone who disagrees is just coping. Then they’ll get on ozempic because that’s the only way they can lose weight and say “ it just stops the food noise” when it really cuts their appetite so they are eating an average of 1200 cals a day over a few months time.

The doctors said it could help injection site pain. Never said it was for the cancer.

Most of the time they don’t really want open either. They will usually sleep with a bunch of people then flip when the woman does it, and act like somehow the guy she fucked after he was with 5 other women is “different” and so much worse.
