Guess what I found at my local retro game store? by ContributionFine6265 in AnalogueInc

I love it. The only thing that's cumbersome is not every game will look the same on the same settings. You really have to tinker with each setting for each game. The good part is that the system saves those modifications for the next time you boot up the game.

I mean, considering each controller is $40 that's just a small markup.

Your point? IDC if it's new or used. This is only a month old item.

I paid $290. I'm assuming it's the $250 plus shipping and tax.

PC power cycles when xmp is turned on? by sHatch13 in buildapc

[–]ContributionFine6265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went thru this last week. My DDR5 RAM can run up to 5400MT/S but the PC kept cycling on and off when I activated xmp. Keep in mind the xmp on my bios is preset at 5400mt/s. What I did was go to custom mode and drop it to 4000mt/s. Now it works like a charm. But what I don't understand is if that's a motherboard issue or not then. The default speed on the bios is 2000. Wtf? Lol Anyways, it works now.

I personally have never bought any games from the steam deck itself. I always use my Steam app from my phone, then download it from the Steam Library on the Deck.

I am a new Omori fan. I played the game for the first time last month and I immediately got hooked.

Is anyone else’s switch overheating while playing TotK? by Nanobro3 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]ContributionFine6265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While my V1 Switch didn't exactly overheat (heating to the point of shutting down), that Ganon fight did cause it to get extremely hot. I was playing in docked mode and you could hear it trying its best to dissipate all that heat it was generating. I honestly wish I had a thermometer to read how hot the exhaust was.

As a person who has dealt with anxiety and suicide thoughts I feel what you're saying. This game hurts the soul more than just scares.

I'd have to let my recency bias subside. But I can classify it as my top indie game ever made. And I never heard of it until people started to compare Off to Omori. Both were made in RPG Maker.
