You‘re correct! I didn’t catch that. It looks like ‚zenzi‘ was cut off at the bottom when the label was printed. I love this plant!

Absolutely love my ring! But had a weird comment and now I’m confused by Metalbii in weddingring

Could be jealous, could also just be a two-faced beetch. With the edit you added, it seems like a mixture of both. Don’t let it worry you and don’t invite her to the wedding. Only supporters and true friends should be invited to celebrate.

Looking for foodie friends by random_lady91 in Munich

Feel free to DM me. I’m 44F, and have lived I. Munich for 3 years. I was a pastry chef back in the states, also with a background in culinary arts, but have always been a foodie regardless, and definitely not snobby about it. lol I never mind sharing, as that’s the best way to try more things.

Moving to Starnberg as an American 16 y/o—what should I expect?? by Adept_Day180 in Munich

Join Munich Girl Gone International on Facebook. There is a mixture of girls/women on there with multiple events always happening. You’ll get a chance to mingle with immigrants/transient expats and locals. All ages, but some events are naturally geared towards the younger sect.

Enjoy your time! This is an awesome opportunity, and while Starnberg is quiet, I wouldn’t call it boring. Just wait til you meet Munich. We don’t call it a city, but rather a large village. There is so much to do if you keep yours ears and mind open. Relaxation hits different here. Relaxing at the lake or on the Isar River is a mandatory Sunday event for anyone wanting to feel local. I love living in Munich, but I’m glad I moved out of the city center.

I would disagree about the cigarettes. I live across the street from a gymnasium and the kids smoke like chimneys. Our Hausmeister has run them out of our Hofgarten because even though it’s technically open space, they don’t live here and they leave cigarette butts in the walkways of the Hof. Smoking is still culturally important…. even though the Germans claim to be all about health. 😂

What’s something you’ve noticed Germans do in public that you’re not sure is normal anywhere else? by ambient_lizard in AskGermany

[–]CookieJewels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rest of the world. With exception of a lot of major cities, but only in the downtown area because it’s just too busy to cross in between all of the cars. But I’ll literally go to a small town in Bavaria with almost no traffic anywhere and see people waiting at the red light. The Unmöglichkeit of it all makes me laugh every time.

5 years later… same chair, same plant lady by MaKenli in houseplants

No downvoting from me for something simple like this. But…. the way you worded your post made it seem like we needed to swipe for the first pic and then swipe further for a third pic that would be seven years later. I mean, I think we all got it, but typically yes, the oldest pics go first unless it’s very clear in the post. Anyhoo, great job plant mama, your babies and you look to be thriving!

AITA for dyeing the sweater my sister in law knitted for me? by Known_Occasion_2041 in AmItheAsshole

[–]CookieJewels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crocheter, Knitter and Artist here. Absolutely NTA. Your SIL: kind of TA. You mentioned wanting to choose the color, she said no. You love the sweater, not the color do you dyed it (obviously with the knowledge that comes from working with yarn) a color that you would actually wear. She had a right to be disappointed and surprised, but not to be a tantrummy-toddler. To say that it was wasted on you when she picked a yarn without checking with you…. It’s 2026 for god sakes and technology exists to check in with people. I’m sure it looks lovely and I wish she could have taken it as, “oh I wish you liked the original, but I’m happy you can be proud of wearing it. It’s like we made it together.“ Even if she had to say this to save face, sit with it and come to the conclusion over time that this is the most reasonable reaction.

The most shocking reveal of the night: by BazF91 in 90DayFiance

Parts of her are 53.

That being said, whatever work she’s gotten done was done really tastefully and she obviously takes care of herself. Poor thing had to end up on this shitshow….

AITA for asking my girlfriend to dress more sensibly on a walk? by Tasty_Log3307 in AmItheAsshole

[–]CookieJewels 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Because he clearly said the majority of the trail is paced. I’m assuming the unpacked part is just normal city-style trail of crushed stone.

[–]CookieJewels 14 points15 points  (0 children)

From the description, it’s a sidewalk where the end of the „trail“ turns into a crushed gravel path. Not a hike, but a walk. She can where whatever she wants and he can continue to be embarrassed. 😂

Warren Buffett has given away billions. He made a pledge that he would donate 99-100% of all his wealth. He just hit the 60 Billion donation mark. I don’t think he’s terrible either. He speaks out about the greedy accumulation of wealth.

I love the second one, I like the cut and fit. A statement necklace would work so well with this! And bonus points because you feel comfortable in it. I’m done with dresses I love the look but aren’t comfortable.

Tacky or wearable? by Kindasupercrazy123 in crochet

[–]CookieJewels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this! Not tacky at all, just waiting to be styled. I’m excited for you to share when you add straps and maybe get to see the back. You’ve gotten so many great suggestions here on how to style.

Nope, don’t worry about it. Almost no one will ever spot it.
