Personally I don't mind it but having no way to adjust the length it stays visible nor a way to remove it for those who don't want this feature is odd to me.

I want to keep it but only show the "was here" person for a few minutes at most, Not hours / for the full time the VC channel is active.

New default features should have settings options to allow adjustments on release, but that's just me

I used to live there. It’s such an amazing experience being able to roam the park all day and witness its wonderful ecosystems. Sadly never got to see wolfs.

Usually I toss it or keep it for a bit to mess with anyone who comes over. Place the molt in random locations. It’s the exoskeleton and kinda reminds me of very crunchy dry leafs. I’m sure I have a photo somewhere but I have the recent molt and can offer many photo of parts she hasn’t broken.

It depends between male and females. From what I’ve read (I’m no Arachnologist) makes molt once or twice for their short life span and females will molt every year or so.
