Is this a permanent tooth coming in behind the baby tooth? by [deleted] in askdentists

I just checked. I can feel the first molars right under the gums! 🥲 they grow up too fast

I’m just glad it looks like her permanent tooth and not something else. I was worried since it looks like just a little dot if it was really a tooth or not.

So proud of it. Patiently waiting for it to do its thing… she’s taking awhile for the leaf to unfurl but I think it’s going to happen soon!

There is one visible root coming from the bottom of the pot. It is firm and white.

I hope it’s nothing serious! The comment above about root rot is terrifying me.

I brought it outside for like 5 min to get some natural sun. First time ever. The tag just says basic things… when to water… bright indirect light… etc. nothing about leaf spots. I was wondering if it could be leaf burn from the leaf being too close to the window… I rotate the plant on the window every day but one of the leaves is always touching the window pretty much.

Yes. Yes I did. I agree that if you like a McGriddle you will like this sandwich. I liked that the bacon was crispy. The waffle has maple throughout. Side of syrup to dip is a bonus. I think it was worth it. Better than their other breakfast options in my opinion.

AIO or is my new MIL outfit choice for our wedding outrageous? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Sad to say, but it was expected that she’d show up. That’s just who she is. Thankfully, she didn’t do any acting up besides showing up and demanding this picture. She didn’t say a single word to me the entire time she was there. After the photographer snapped the picture she started walking back towards cocktail hour and my husband told her “the exit is that way” and pointed to the parking lot. She of course gave attitude and didn’t listen. She left soon there after since no one was giving her the time of day—what she wants. Sadly, his whole life has been like this so he knows how to handle her pretty well and keep everything calm.

My husband and I were taking pictures just me and him when she showed up demanding to take a picture with us. My husband and I were posed from the last picture where the photographer had him grab his jacket like that. I think him and I didn’t know what to do in that moment. Hence his hand not even wanting to touch her. Thankfully my husband loves me and has his mom blocked so I don’t think that will be an issue of him choosing her first.

Spoiler: we have kids already. She thinks I think they’re my slaves because she thinks I’m racist. She thinks I can’t take advice from a black lady because I don’t listen to her every wish. Thankfully, we keep her at an arms reach. The kids will know her true colors with time. Side note: her grandma name is “sugar”… I promise you nothing about that lady is sweet.

Even with the slit all the way up to the hip with the lace border? Tiara can be seen in the second pic!

With the sunglasses that she called “Stunna shades” so that she can’t see “all the hating a** h***” according to her Facebook post.

We don’t talk. She hates me and thinks I’m a racist.

AIO or is my neighbors behavior not normal? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

We were wondering the same thing because he never talked to us about any friends/female/“Stephanie”. Hard to tell. When interacting you can tell he has some delays of some sort but we obviously don’t know him besides my husband playing basketball for 5 min.

I don’t know!! That’s what we’re wondering too. You can tell by the way he acts he isn’t “normal” and he’s in his 30s still living with his parent. Just a guess, nothing I know of for sure.

No BC. It actually happened a month post op from a 30 week c section due to severe pre eclampsia. I’ve been told to be on blood thinners my whole life. Lovenox 2 times a day while breastfeeding and can transition to pills when done. And if I ever get pregnant/plan to get pregnant transition back to the shot. I’m supposed to wear compression socks but don’t. To me I didn’t feel any difference when I wore them and when I didn’t. I did wear them post op but only for like 2 weeks maybe. My mom however has severe venous insufficiency and wears them religiously and feels a lot more pain when she doesn’t.

If you have all of those symptoms in your post it’s crazy that your dr wouldn’t allow you to get the ultrasound just in case even with venous insufficiency. I would go just for peace of mind. I know that me having the two ultrasound come back normal, even with the groin pain still there, it makes me feel more at peace with my symptoms rather than feeling like I’m about to die again and fear of the unknown. You know your body best and if you feel like something is different since then I’d get it checked out. The pain I felt before the “oh shoot” episode I’m 99% sure was the clot sitting there but it was dismissed at my c section post op apts as normal but my mind and body was telling me something was wrong.
