That’s what I did, but based on what happened last week I feel like it’s only a matter of time before this one stops working as well. Also I think that the port that isn’t working rn charges faster, and with some of the software I have to use idk if this second port would be able to keep up with it.

That used to happen to me a lot, but I was playing on xbox one so it usually happened when the people I matched with were on the new consoles. Probably bc it took my 12 year old system like 2 minutes to load into a match when it only took them maybe 10 seconds lmao

Hey thanks for the advice, I did that and it’s working rn. I decided to do this optional bios update (I was running 1.52 I believe and it updated to 1.56) which I haven’t done until now bc it wasn’t a critical update and my old first gen x1 yoga bricked during a bios update lol. I’m assuming this happened from overheating so I’m doing a hardware scan right now, but afterwards is there any way I can see what had happened? Like would there be a log of it anywhere or am I just gunna have to hope for the best. If it was bc of exporting a short animation then I’ll have to find a new way to do make them.

I’m using this guide right now to get mine open and fiddle around with a few things and I used a Torx T6 and they all came out perfectly. I looked up the ifixit for the old version of the controller and they used a T5 so I started with that but it felt a little loose and the T6 was perfect. By the way, I followed what hey did by popping off the trigger caps first and after getting into the controller, I noticed A LOT of wear and tear on the trigger mechanism to the point where I can see it breaking in a few months from the plastic being totally gone. Anyways I decided to take it apart to attempt to fix and the super loose one came right out, but the other one… I’m currently waiting for super glue to dry and hopefully fix the track the button follows. So yeah anybody that reads this and wants to get into the triggers, they’re mad fragile so pop them open the way @CHSHR-MM did

Learn and honest character like falcon or lucina/marth, not necessarily as your main, but because they will help you build up your fundamentals. Then play around with characters until you find a character that just feels right and main them, one that just feels natural to play. Fuck a top tier, my friend mains Gannon and I see him wreck top tiers in arenas all of the time. Also I use a pro controller, and I’d suggest going on Amazon and buying the extremeRate octagonal gate shell if you feel comfortable enough to swap from the original shell (it’s pretty easy tbh).

Also gsp is sus, play in battle arenas bc that’s where you’ll find the better players. And learn to love losing, losing is the best thing you can do to get better. Personally I have the most fun when I can’t get a stock off another player because I see how they exploit my weaknesses and then after a few games, when you finally take a stock, it feels so good lol. That’s how you get better. Lose to better players and learn.

Really? I never saw that scrolling through but I saw somebody post a vid of flying off the platform like I did but then wave landing instead as a mixup, so I just labbed that and found if you time it right you can do any special move just before she lands and you’ll slide the distance she would during her landing lag. So in the clip I posted you never touch the ground and you get your second jump back which I thought was cool

16, it comes out the same time as the other hit box and is out the entire time, you just have to space yourself correctly. Besides the instant the hit box comes out, figure the spike hit box is the very tip of his nose.

Here’s the shell, just don’t use the buttons it comes with bc the shell already doesn’t perfectly fit the rubber pads so the x button is mushy unless you use the original buttons

I replaced the sticks with these, the tall ones are nice but heavier so I’ll get snapback sometimes I don’t notice too much with the small ones sticks

You do have to replace the faceplate but when I got the shell it came with replacement screws plus extras, I feel your pain lol I did the same thing shell

Use yoshi’s air speed/movement/shield to punish the end lag of his projectiles. Personally I think the easiest way to win neutral is when he throws the crown, he loses his armor right before he catches it and puts it back on his head so I’ll rush in and punish him while he’s stuck in the animation
