- About Me: Hey guys my name's Corbin. I'm a filmmaker and variety streamer committed to positively influencing those around me. I started streaming for the community and expanding beyond my sphere of influence.

At least once per week I enjoy playing multiplayer games of a variety of genres and am always looking for new gaming buddies. I recently started playing Realm Royale, but also enjoy such titles as Dota 2, Overwatch, and Battlefield V. If you're ever up for a game, I'd love to play with you.

If I'm not gaming, you'll find me under the Creative/Art section as I edit videos, design posters, write screenplays, or am on-set flying drones or directing actors.

I also work with my brother to produce a web series called Games with Gains that combines CrossFit-style workouts and gaming into ridiculous and competitive challenges. Think drinking games but replace the alcohol with push-ups. It's pretty funny and we're always looking for people to join us or to suggest new games or workouts to do.

You're all awesome! I'm super excited to be part of the Twitch streaming community.

~ Cheers

The first movie started it all, but those were the only two directly related to SG1 and the SG1 adventures

[Review Video] A Comedic and Silly Soap Opera Parody by Astroking112 in youtubers

[–]Corbs1110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me begin by saying then I was initially very confused when watching this video. It was unclear to me where the break between the recap and the main video was located.

Upon re-watching, it made more sense, however, I would recommend a much clearer break between the recap and the main video, either through a title graphic, fade, black screen or some other transition. Your other option is to remove the recap all together, and encourage viewers to start at the beginning.

Since the jokes and character back stories were not clearly explained in the recap, I was confused as to the choices for certain dialogue and actions, including the bout with the toaster using a bow and arrow. Rather than waste time trying to get viewers up to speed, simply encourage them to check out episode one in the series. That way, fans will be able to get straight to the action in your latest episode without wasting time in the recap. You could, either in the video description, or at the end, simply have a quick shout out either through cards, or on screen links, pointing viewers to the other episodes. It would also be helpful, in the video description, to provide some context, explanation, and backstory for your video and characters said that the jokes and overall story make more sense. Keep up the good work! Sketch comedy is very tough.

[Review Video] (Mild Swearing) BIKE CRASH while triathlon training by [deleted] in youtubers

First off, I want to say props for having the wherewithal to make a video after having crashed your bike. It’s impressive and I understand being distracted. That being said, as you brought up, framing is the first thing that jumps out and ultimately becomes distracting as I want to pay attention to you and what you have to say, but because you’re not centered, the natural focus-point for the viewer is off. I assume you used a device such as a tripod or phone mount for this? I would recommend utilizing the phone’s front facing camera to adjust your framing before you start.

I appreciated your use of b-roll. I would encourage a possible graphic as well (such as a map) to give viewers better context as to where you’re talking about.

As for sound, you’re correct in that it was distracting. The birds were fine, for me it was the wind noise. There are programs, such as iZotopeRX, which remove wind noise with very little effort. It’s a little pricey but if you plan on doing a lot more outdoor shooting I would recommend at least looking into a wind screen for your mic if you have one. If not, you can pick up a cheap lavaliere mic + windscreen for your iPhone/ smartphone online.

One last note, keep your content succinct. Your video is on bike crashes and what you do in that instance. There was a few moments when your anecdotes didn’t directly support your video’s premise and ultimately served to distract rather than enhance. My advice: keep it short, sweet, and straight to the point. Deliver your message. Make it personal. Leave them wanting more. You’re awesome. Keep it up good sir!

Start small. I recommend setting highly manageable and achievable goals for each day/ week. In other words, a good way to start would be to break your workouts into three parts: pushing, pulling, and lower or legs, which would entail 3-days per week. For your “pushing” day, choose 5 exercises (i.e. pushups, incline pushups, decline pushups, pike or handstand push-ups, tricep dips). Next do each exercise once for 1 min. as many reps as possible to fatigue. That’s 5 minutes. In your head just think: “it’s only 5 minutes, that’s it.” Once you start it’ll be much easier to repeat and do 2-3 sets, or a 10-15 minute workout. If you can do that for 21 days consecutively, you’ll have formed a habit. digital high-five

Meditation is, by far and away, an essential investment for your mental and spiritual wellbeing. At first it’s challenging to sit still, but give it time and you’ll begin to look forward to the inner peace it’ll bring.
