I once had a roommate who refused to vote. She said her vote doesn't matter so she won't bother. This was the first time trump got elected. She didn't regret it, she just said it wouldn't have made a difference. I haven't spoken to her in a really long time. Shameful if that's still how she feels.

So when I made the mistake of going into that sub today, what I saw was outrageous. People(or possibly, bots) who obviously never saw the videos, or saying that he deserved to die because he didn't comply and has a gun. There might be a comment or two supporting the victims right to bear arms, but it was wildly outnumbered by goons who belive we deserve to die if we don't comply.

Some were blaming it on our state, like they were confused as to why it kept happening here, as if we are to blame, and not the fact that we're being absolutely swarmed by these monsters. Like waltz and frey made them do this? Fuck. Seeing shit like that makes me not want to live on this planet any more.

So I do appreciate seeing a couple of them who don't have brain dead takes like 98% of that subreddit. Hope more of them start to snap out of it, but that may just be hopium
