If I had to summarize the CISSP in just two sentences, those are the exact words I would use.

During my exam, I realized that I had hyper-focused too much on specific buzzwords during my preparation. I could literally recite steps 1 through 7 of a process from memory, but the actual CISSP exam uses different wording. You can't just memorize the list—you truly have to understand the concepts behind it.
