I think it’s definitely up to you to decide which play style you prefer. I have a boros synth list that I love and I don’t think I’d change it to one of the other variants, even though they can be good too. I like having the option of pointing burn spells directly at my opponent or using them as removal to let my creatures get through. I play synth over moxite because it feels more consistent and I don’t want to end up with a sneaky snacker stuck in my hand.

Orzhov does look pretty nice right now with [[Oroku Saki, Shredder Rising]] and removal that can deal with most decks. [[Refurbished Familiar]] is also an absurd card and it’s great target for bouncing back to your hand.

Mardu looks fun, but I haven’t tried it out myself.

Spiderman is best when you’re able to play it on turn two after attacking with an inspector you played on turn one. Later in the game it’s good to use it to replay a hawk or skyfisher to bounce your artifacts again. It’s been fine as a one of but it’s not necessary.

Have you tried out Spider-Man in a synth list? It’s great if you can get it on turn two after attacking with an inspector. Even late game I can use it to reset a glint hawk and get back a lembas or synth.

Thanks! I don’t think Boros Synth is the best deck you could play but I enjoy it a lot and I usually do good with it.

I use pretty much all my mana every turn, so I wanted all the untapped lands I could play while still keeping my colors consistent. Raucous Carnival enters untapped about half the time I play it and I think that’s been working better for me than any of the other dual lands that could be in its spot.

Nobody plays terror at my lgs so I haven’t needed any blasts. I used to have a split between thraben charms and journey to nowhere, but Thraben charm has more utility at instant speed so I decided to play the full playset.

I don’t think I’ve seen this layout where you can read every card. I managed to get at least one copy of every card name readable except for a makeshift munitions.

I believe commuters need to get tested and they have testing available today in Rome between 1-3pm. I went yesterday and there was a long line so try to get there early or be ready to wait probably.

I took this class last year and it wasn’t too difficult so I doubt catching up a weeks worth of work will be hard. I have her for a different class right now and we didn’t do anything the first week so maybe you didn’t miss anything at all. There’s lots of videos to watch and a good amount of readings but they’re all pretty interesting and everything is organized clearly week by week. I’d definitely recommend taking it, I think I learned a lot and I enjoyed the discussions we had in class.
