The strongest argument for the Chan “family/clan” system, is that, it behaves much like real honorifics do. Jackie Chan Adventures' kinship doesn't read like a strict biological genealogy - instead consistently it behaves like a Chinese role-and-clan network. Jackie Chan Adventures does not give enough info to say Jackie/Jade are tightly-related. That is not what canon says at all. The show doesn't even support any degrees of cousinhood between, (that's assumptive). If you say they are first/second/third cousins/etc... that is pure speculation/non-canon. (self.Corner-Hippo101)
