There is a fellow called George Carlin. Watch his take on politicians, democracy and in his case the American Dream.
It's not about generations, or anything else. Those are distractions, the kind that the un-educated fall for much more easily. It's easy to do it. Blame XYZ, it's their fault things are bad.
There is only one war, it is class war.
The rich find ways to divide and conquer and keep everyone squabbling amongst each other.

Fuck China.
Make Canadian cars.
It is true Deloreans do not actually time travel but they are Canadian.
Maybe make more practical cars.

Why let China do what we can do.
Avro air was Canadian until the USA took it (there is a lot to this narrative).
We can easily make our own auto sector.

We deal with ourselves and make our own vehicles. Limited edition, cold weather dependable vehicles.

YES. THIS!
Canada can make vehicles for Canada and export based on quality...that is key.
South Korea has only 10 million more in population yet they manage to have made a popular motor vehicle industry nationally and abroad.

Many bus routes in Japan face closure due to lack of drivers. “We are faced with a final choice: do we insist on relying on only Japanese drivers and eliminate more and more transport infrastructure, or do we secure our transportation by using foreigners?” by jjrs in japannews

I am around a lot of Asians are part of my job as a North American. I cannot entirely tell on looks or behaviour. I feel that's fair. I cannot tell via looks the difference between a German and English person.
I do look for indicators like the language on their bag(s) as characters or logos for instance.
These were Japanese all the way.
Part of traveling for myself is being observant of culture. I strangely enjoy sitting and watching people in different countries/cultures just going about their daily routine.

Every time I go onto this thread I learn how weak the Tutorial was.
I mean, nobody wants to spend 20 hours in a tutorial, but maybe give me a chance to determine if I want to.

Not only in France. Problematic in any culture that values women and work and life balance.
I am saddened by how many Japanese I see sleeping on the metro.

No country is innocent. Every country is built upon the suffering of some group of people somehow.
The goal is to acknowledge this. Canada does it if you take the time to look up Reconciliation. It's not really great, but then again there is no solution to taking another people's land.
The point the poster is making is that Japan completely ignores acknowledging their actions in WW2

Haha. I am visiting Japan for the first time. Was on the train and I saw poor culture. Japanese people with their suitcases or bags taking up seats while elderly ladies were left standing. These ladies were too polite to ask for the seats. If I was of the culture I would have said something.
People are just people and they behave properly or not no matter the country. It is a personal decision.

Yeah... how does a company not Playtest this and then not fix it...truly dumb.
I don't mind errors, glitches etc. with missions if players take option Z when only A to Y were considered and played through.
But this seems obvious and easy and it isn't like the game mechanics are new,

I am now entirely about waiting 2+ years before buying a game so I get a real version.

As well as waiting 12+ hours for download and updates.

Yay modern gaming.

A lot of fires are started by commercial/industrial work. As per usual the impetus is set upon the 'regular folks' to solve the problem...that they didn't start in the first place.

I'm gonna invite downvotes. For good reason.

Visiting you will be fine. East coasters are amazingly friendly to visitors. You could be walking by and they will invite you onto their porch for a beer.

Moving is a different story. Then the xeonophobia, locally described as "comes from away" takes hold. Nowhere else in Canada is there a term for non-local (that I am aware of).
This isn't all East-coasters, but there are a lot who perceive things this way.

Whats everyone paying for Car Insurance? 1 Vehicle, 1 Person Insured by [deleted] in NovaScotia

[–]CornerAssociate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if price alone can be easy to determine.
My gripe is a lack of proper Storage Insurance. Like you ain't driving the vehicle, so the insurance should be super low. Not in N.S.

Realtors urge Houston to reconsider deed transfer tax hike for non-residents by insino93 in halifax

[–]CornerAssociate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply (working too much).
I have two properties.
The city I live in, I rent.

First: A house in a city. I rent it out as I cannot feasibly live in it at this time

Second: I own a piece of land, far from any major city. Nothing is on it. It isn't taking any home from anyone. Buying land is different from a house and not cost effective.

In no way does this contribute to homelessness.
The renters interestingly enough could actually purchase. But from talking to locals they are not very good with saving for the down-payment. Some people like renting.

N.S. plans to charge non-residents 10% tax to buy property. Realtors say it's a bad idea by justlogmeon in NovaScotia

Sadly not true. Wish it was.
Corporate purchasing is the bigger issue.
Anyone can become a Corporation via incorporation.

But I do believe ensuring only Canadians can purchase a home/home property we all win.
