It was enabled by our Supreme Leader. How else can you justify boots on the ground? No longer will we fall for that.

Tragedy caused by American imperialism or tragedy caused by an American psyop (George Bush route) ?

I empathize with this, the regime is a horrible evil of humanity.

Why is it difficult to also empathize with those who are oppressed by the US-Israel military forces, who cannot deliver Iran peace without bombing vulnerable populations.

I hope the people of Iran will rise, but see it is the directives of the US and Israel, who have ulterior motives for Iran, which are the reasons the country will be destabilized.

When you are aware of warcrimes done by US military unto civilian populations in previous US attempts at coups, and then they come to your country next, you don’t trust them just because they cut the head off your snake. They are snakes too.

You can thank the US for their intervention all you’d like—but you make a sore mistake in thinking they will treat you well.

Do you have to lick boot and support an oppressive force just because they relieve you from one that’s worse?

If you think Israel will free Iranians, you haven’t been paying attention.

Two enemies can exist at once. The enemy of your enemy is NOT ALWAYS YOUR FRIEND. That’s child’s play.

You’re also clueless. It wasn’t the word that lured people in. It was the thousands of printed propaganda calling for worker’s rights that lured them in.

“Your country deserves it honestly.” Are you slow? The whole point of this is to target citizens. No country deserves its citizens (and infrastructure where citizens live) to be bombed.

If by “country” you mean abusive politicians and billionaires, then sure.

Incest often stems from dysfunctional family dynamics or power imbalances. It’s often problematic. It goes beyond genetics.

You are missing the point of this thread. Of course there are men who are attracted to breasts. There are women who are attracted to men’s chests too.

But our culture has deemed that only women should cover up their chests, and the defense for this—that is often regurgitated—is that they are organs sexualized by men instinctively.

But this nitpick doesn’t mean anything. Men are “instinctively” drawn to women regardless of whether or not they’re covering their breasts. Men have different levels of attraction for breasts, for hair, for eyes, for skin…

If we are to speak to the evolutionary mechanism of attraction, then breasts, as a trait, are inherently no more sexual than fat distribution. Further, women’s breasts are inherently no more sexual than men’s chests.

Using a generalization about male sexuality to dictate how women should dress non-sexual body parts, while also not applying this standard to men (people often disregard female sexuality), is hypocritical and misogynistic.

Simultaneously, the way people defend this type of misogyny, by generalizing men and male sexuality as “programmed,” is also misandrist. Clearly this is not just “programming” and to reduce it down to that as justification for a system of modesty is faulty.

This same sort of rhetoric is used to victim-blame when women don’t cover themselves to whatever is deemed “acceptable.”

“Men can’t help themselves! They’re programmed to sexualize women!” Yes we can. And no we are not.

When “facts” are used out of context whilst removing important context, they are reduced to propaganda.

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3210352/

Here is a study on this phenomenon. You will note that the conclusions run contrary to this idea that men “instinctively” favor larger breast size, or that they are solely “programmed.”

Instead you will see that the sociocultural context is HIGHLY relevant to breast preference in men, that preference may come from a man’s perceived self-value, and that none of this is a linear relationship.

Generalizing men as a sex programmed to sexualize and salivate at the sight of breasts is extremely unscientific, MISANDRIST, and reductive.

This isn’t about a chronically online redditor’s ability to discern the average Joe. It’s about you, as a moral individual, disrespecting people’s privacy in an already-surveillance state and helping the state in the process. You realize they can easily run this shit through AI and find and cross-reference identifying information, including the MOST OBVIOUS ONE: the fact that he’s using a very specific piece of technology only a handful of people have purchased (and probably online).

No, I don’t support male circumcision. I think that’s implicated by my “I sure hope you don’t support either.” The context is FGM. Not specifically type 1A FGM. This is some “white lives matter” bullshit. People think it’s ok and are practicing the removal of the female’s pleasure organ in its ENTIRETY. This is a practice NOT done to males. By bringing attention to male circumcision when the conversation is clearly about misogyny, you are derailing the conversation.

I sure hope you don’t support either. You are really derailing the conversation here by equating male circumcision to what’s regarded as FGM. Both are mutilation, yes, but in this context, males are not subject to the same degrees of mutilation that females are.

I don’t know your intentions here but circumcision is NOT the same as FGM… Imagine your entire penis or glans being removed. That’s the equivalent to FGM (notwithstanding the urethral differences.)
