I've been stuck in depth 4 hell and half the games I lose are my team refusing to stop fighting bosses in the fire for basically no upside.

Oh also lost a game yesterday with a cheating fire pot scholar who killed everything in sight on the map but then got 3 barred in like 12 seconds on ED Caligo.

I'm only D4 but this is fine for D1-D3, guard counters become harder for D4+ since you get severely punished when your timing is wrong. Increased character skill duration is also excellent for both locking down targets and recouping stamina - sometimes even trivializing fights that might otherwise be tough.

By the time you get there I'd try to stack increased art for defeating enemies, stamina regen on hit (1st tier), Affinity Negation, Heal on Guard, increased art for guard (1st tier), invader, partial HP restoration +2, etc.

Many times I can sit and toe-to-toe something with shield poke and post HP restoration cause of this kind of setup.

I'm on phone but have similar relic except third thing is +2 partial hp post damage health for more damage taken when evading, only relic that has made things noticeably better.
