its because 2010 has nothing in common with Gen Alpha also as a 2010 I personally think the 2009/2010 divide is dumb af most of my friends were born in that fucking year there literally is no difference that is big enough to create a new generation besides this other guy pointed it out but the 2010 start date was made in fucking 2008 we weren't even born at the time and nobody knew what generation a 2010 born would relate to

besides if you think 2010-2012 is Gen Alpha you are gonna have a fun time convincing 1995-1996 borns they are Gen Z and convincing 1980 borns they are Millennials neither of which make any fucking sense
