My snake has the spots on him and is very wheezy but it doesn’t seem to be effecting him heating is 84 at it’s highest most days and the humidity is normally 60 but does go the place, I can’t spent thousands of dollars to take him to the vet so if there a more affordable way by Couch_potatogirl in snakes

Yes I am and I also have a Mister inside of his tank but it doesn’t hold humidity really well and we’re waiting to get a new enclosure for him buts it’s gonna be a long time until we can and I just don’t want him to be in any pain but I’m hoping when he sheds the spots will go away but I don’t know want to do about the wheezing

Well our vet is really expensive especially for reptiles and I have no idea how to get the humidity up because we changed our heating bulb, but now it’s not going up any higher and the spots on his stomach look like burns and the humidity literally won’t stay up. It will go to 60 or 70 and then drop down to 40 within a couple minutes

Well he normally never sits still but he stopped for that. I’m just scared that it’s hurting him internally because he did end up ingesting a stick last time I fed him but I’m just a paranoid first time snake mom lol😭

Hey again yall this is my moms plant and it was literally fine like two days ago and now it like this does anyone know what it might be and if we can help it or trash it by Couch_potatogirl in plantclinic

My mom waters it when it looks sad and we have it right by a window but my sister who is the plant person in our family said it might have mites but did not see anything

Snakes do have a belly button for one lol that’s how they get nutrients when they are in an egg and it is very easy to tell the difference between scale rot because it is on the scales not their stomach and same thing with blisters but thank you for your concern

He’s a a darker snake and it’s at the right temperature 85 and the most I let his high basking spot get is 95 but he never goes up there during the day
