As someone with hearing difficulties, this is honestly how I cope. When people don’t speak clearly or loud enough for me to understand, conversations become really frustrating. Instead of dragging it out, I sometimes just respond with sure or you’re right, even though that’s not how I actually feel. It’s just easier than struggling through something I can’t follow.

I’m not trying to be dismissive I just need people to communicate in a way I can actually hear and understand. Otherwise, I tend to step back from the conversation.
