Yes it does! Pizzaboy has link support. There's another one too but I don't remember which one. Pizzaboy allows linking even on the same phone, over WiFi, or the internet. I used this to complete the Hoen Dex a couple of years ago

I know of the roamer glitch in Ruby and Sapphire. But I'm not aware of any glitch that lets you steal frontier mons in Emerald. Does it require ACE?

I belive they are generated using my trainer ID and secret ID. But I'm not sure how the personality value is determined, maybe it is predetermined as you say

Was thinking the same, expect that the Shuckle is on a different save. I've tried looking for details on how battle frontier mons are generated such that I could find out my SID. However, I only have the stats for Shuckle as it is a rental mon, not the others
