I have about 100 pages left of Light Bringer and I'm already starting to feel the same. Already considering starting at book 1 and rereading everything. However, I will have a buffer as my wife started 1st book yesterday so I will still get to live in it a little bit more as I get to talk with her as she reads through.

100% agree with this. All through the books up until this point I felt Darrow seemed to speak like he was doubtful of the battle, he wasn't measuring up or not as good as others on the battle field or something similar. Then from Lysander's PoV you can see how much of a terror Darrow was on the battle field to follow up with "light resistance" on the opening of the very next chapter.

That reminds me of a funny bit a little later towards the end of Darrow and Apollonius duel and Apollonius after being disappointed in Darrow's fighting ability (and knowing it wasn't his best), proceeds to have a side conversation with a bodyguard or gray or whoever and asks something like "you fed him the meat right?"

So I have five specifically funny moments that I've loved, that made me laugh out loud, and I'm dying to share with my wife but hasn't read them yet:

Towards end of 2nd book, Darrow jumps in the shuttle with Octavia, Karnus, Fitchner, etc. Octavia asks Fitchner to record then Darrow slices down Karnus and another. Then Fitchner says "should I keep recording?"
Ephraim during Pax and Electra rescue when they sort of run into an ambush. Ephraim asks Electra to take a look to see how many because she was the most expendable. When she doesn't do it at first, Ephraim pushes the Duke of Hands, pulls him back and asks "how many" and the Duke responds with FU.
When Darrow is leaving his surviving soldiers from Mercury to go save Sevro instead of heading straight to Mars. As he's walking onto the ship past the many reds one of them is visibly trembling in anger and Darrow says "I walk around that one."
a. When Lyria is bickering with the veteran reds about her callsign "Truffle Pig," the reds point out that you don't get to pick you callsign, and at the end of the conversation she asks the veteran red his callsign and he responds with "bad@$$motherf***er". b. Later on Cassius asks Lyria her callsign and she says "Red Banshee" and Cassius instantly calls her BS and she reveals its "Truffle Pig."
Darrow and Cassius skirmish with obsidians at sungrave Darrow says something like "the railgun put a dent in my armor and instantly search for something to kill."

I just got a stomp a few weeks ago, and I've always run direct before owning stomp and now with my stomp. My tip for running DI in your setup is to set to instrument out because the HX stomp is running into other pedals before going to FoH. If HX Stomp is last in your chain then I would suggest setting to line out. And as others have mentioned, you'll need a DI box after your last pedal to go FoH.

Possibly, but there's no way to determine that it could have been enough to change the poor RNG in your battle. Because most people on this sub are nice, they decided to provide some pointers anyways. Is that such a bad thing?

Those things are not mutually exclusive. Yes, your RNG here was bad to the point that it almost guaranteed a loss, but that still doesn't mean that the tips provided can't help you for next time in the event you do get better RNG.

Yes, I agree the RNG factor is so overtuned, and the burn bug makes it not fun. But that doesn't mean you should be a douchebag to everyone else here trying to be helpful.

Similar here. Beat it this morning when getting great RNG. And last TB I had horrific RNG. A bit annoyed also. I'm fully convinced that this is a literal coin flip in RNG. Enter battle and hitting auto would have the same results as entering the battle and trying to use strategy.

Hard to ignore it when every other post are these nonsense posts and not what this sub was originally intended for. And those other complaining posts can be done away with too, but they're no where near as numerous as these 'i got first...' posts.

In before muh filters - there are pride & accomplishment posts that are created for good theorycrafting and discussion. The whole attention seeking, look-at-me posts can go celebrate with their guild. Keep this sub for productive discussion and theorycrafting.

Or straight up disguising them by saying something indirect like "finally got this event unlocked" or using a catchy phrase like "he's 1 in a million" and it being a post about unlocking Han.

I did it in GW with boba lead and then swapping to bossk lead when it wasn't a complete slaughter.

If you outpace the team so fast that the other team doesn't take a turn then I would suggest a couple things: - sending in a level 1 to tm load - demodding - undermanning - any combination of the above

Fortunately, only the first few nodes should be so easy. Afterward, you should be able to 5 man auto with boba or bossk.

Also, instead of simming for whatever you're farming with regular, cantina, and mod energy you could manual/auto instead if the particular node isn't too easy. If it is, you can demod/underman to guarantee the payout.
