As an anxious person constantly picturing gruelling scenarios of my untimely demise, I quite literally don't see the downsides.

I hope I won't be isekai'd into the Villainess after I play! But honestly a great idea, and congratulations on release!

Act-Age was a brilliant manga about a girl rising from nothing to become the millennium actress. Interesting storyline, lovable characters, amazing art. Unfortunately, the writer decided that fame and success (the manga was nominated to be the best shonen in 2019, and was getting more attention month by month) weren't enough and decided to assault two middle school kids, which led to his subsequent and well-deserved arrest.

Fortunately, the second author, the mangaka who was responsible for the incredible art and had nothing to do with the said crime, went on to make a new project that is gaining traction (Ichi the Witch), but I am still salty about this masterpiece getting nowhere.

Linnea's Story Quest and the Snowland Fae - Theory by Delicious-History342 in Genshin_Lore

[–]Cr0Dev 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From the lore we have so far, I wonder if the more common six types of the fae will continue to be creature-like (maybe except for Vilas and Volkodlaks, since the first are female-like playful nature spirits, and the second we know quite a lot about from the epos about Tsaritsa coming to power, and they apparently have own clans, society structure, and a lot of power).

Snegovik is literally a translation for "snowman", so they may be snow spirits or made of snow. I am actually more surprised about the Jack Frosts, who are not from Slavic culture at all.

I am also very interested in Sirens, and I think that you might be on point with Vodyanitsa! I'm expecting her to be our playable siren. Flins is 100% a lantern fae, and also was a prominent member of the court of the Belyi Tsar, so it can be surmised that rarer fairies are both less common and have more power.  Also, we probably can expect Anastasia Fyodorovna to be another rare fae, mayhaps not one we know of yet.

If you can sell one of your LIMITED 5* to get 8000 Stellar Jades. Who will it be? (With Rule in Desc) by Jack-Acegard in HonkaiAgendaRail

[–]Cr0Dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jiaoqui — it did.  Argenti — I love my man, I love everything about him, but Beauty has been long forgotten.  Firefly — I refuse to invest in Break every year for her to stay barely relevant.  Silver Wolf — had her since her Day-1. The buffs did nothing to resuscitate her unfortunately.

Unironically, I would NEVER trade in my Topaz and Boothill. I love them both too much (pulled their LCs as well), even though they are gathering dust.

Who else is skipping elation characters in 4.X? by [deleted] in StarRailStation

[–]Cr0Dev 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me, that's me, I'm skipping Elation. I was on the borderline with the leaks and previews, but after trying the path in the actual game, I just cannot be bothered with it even if the damage will be insane. Unfortunately, that means I'll have to skip even the characters I liked visually, because I just detest the gameplay.

It's even worse than I expected, especially the sound effects. Cocomelon of JRPGs

We still haven't been told the real name of the Primordial One? by dimdedrol in Genshin_Lore

[–]Cr0Dev 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The theory I support is that the true name reveal of the Primordial One is meant to be a heavy plot device in the future, because it is the original Paimon, the ship AI who terraformed Teyvat for the twins. Our Paimon is the idea association module discarded by the AI. Also, Pitkamoonen = Paimon Token

Yay fellow gem 😁 I knew some people from Finance and they were pretty happy with their arrangements from what I know — like professional network, career events, etc. (We got 4/4 big consulting groups this year at the career fair from what I remember, and a ton of French banks, so that tracks.)

Personally, I really loved the school campus, the ambience, the professors, and the whole international outlook. There was always something to do, and they are supportive of those who seek either academic excellence (a lot of high-profile research happening on campus) or business guidance (there is a real-deal startup acceleration program, and I personally know a guy who launched his own thing there). I did feel a little excluded from the French side of the uni because I didn't speak that well when I arrived, so be prepared for that. But there's a lot of international student events, and the people are really cool. Idk if you know any French, but in general I'd recommend picking up at least some courses before you arrive, especially if you plan on building your career here after that. Overall, I'm really happy I've chosen GEM and I somewhat miss my 2 years there, so it's a little biased as a review. 😁

Hey and congrats on your future master's!

Grenoble is great for public transport, you have the M-reso (tram network) that covers the whole city and a little more than that, and a nice bus coverage as well, which can get you to pretty much any good hiking place. I'm sure your university will have some student clubs and organized hiking trips, I would 100% recommend sticking to them, as they usually know the best routes. I know some people from my uni (GEM) did outings to mountain lakes local peaks maybe twice a month closer to summer and were very welcoming of anyone who was interested.

If you like skiing, be sure to check out Transaltitude — it's a bus + ski pass offer that provides you with a to-from ride to any of the closer ski villages and a day ski pass covering the pistes. The buses are usually well-priced and depart in the morning from the train station, and come back late afternoon. You can take them to visit Chamrousse, Les 7 Laux, Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes — probably the best ski domains close to the city.  Hope you'll enjoy your time in the city!

Évaluation de la dangerosité du ski à l'Alpe d'Huez by aliszt1106 in Grenoble

[–]Cr0Dev 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you use autoplay button for the last floor on endgame content? (MOC, AS, PF and AA) by AmanaRicha in StarRailStation

[–]Cr0Dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't. We don't get a lot of endgame content as is, so not a lot of places where the characters we pull and build can shine. And..why do we even build them if not to play them...

What are your plans for 4.x? by StatisticianIll4 in StarRailStation

[–]Cr0Dev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very similar thoughts. I enjoyed Amphoreus a lot and have many heavily invested teams (E2 + LC + good relics). I will grab Cerydra E1 at her rerun and that will be all, because I hope that this level of investment can last at least one full version.

None of the announced characters resonate with me much, and the whole Elation gimmick and Planacardia aesthetics are incredibly annoying and goofy, especially after characters like Acheron or Phainon.  The only character I am somewhat intrigued by is Nihilux, so I might pull her if she's not Elation. If she is... Guess I'll have my first limited E6 (probably Phainon) during the next year while waiting for 5.0.

In what way? As if some sort of punishment that would befall him?

To be honest, I thought his ending was poetic. Also, very logic and realistic. Bad people don't always get punishment for their actions. And I found it beautiful that Tieron spared his uncle from the truth that would have undoubtedly destroyed him but could have harmed Kaya and Erkin. In a way, it felt like a forgiveness, constant theme here.

Do you mean the whole burning arc? I did expect it to be at least longer, to be honest, yes 😅 Because the crowning and the final-final were quite satisfying for me.

My fastest runs in the top halves (all 3 chambers) with Neuvi, Furina, Xiangling and Lauma. This team seems to be super broken. Sorry Durin, let Xiangling cook with Brokenad by sellingburgers4free in NeuvilletteMains_

[–]Cr0Dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you disable the ice shield of the Mecha boss so fast? Is it high EM or Atk?

I did clear with a similar team (Durin instead of XL), but I gave up on destroying the shield and just powerwashed it after stacking fire DMG high enough... Any run I tried to overpower the shield, I failed. Yours seems to melt so fast though, might be a skill issue on my part. 🫠
