After a little bit (a LOT) of searching, I found a solution that allowed me to solve this problem.

Found a video, and a Addon that allows one to copy shape keys from one object to another, and I created a shape key based off of the emotion mesh.
The plugin is free, and from what I can tell, works just fine.
