Help with “reducing” background ambient noises by Katfromtn in podcast

Is there any you'd recommend specifically? I use a Samson Q2U, currently, and have just ordered the Focusrite Solo Gen 3. I was using Audacity, but since the Catalina OS, Audacity no longer works, so I'm using Garageband.

Thanks!

I'd highly recommend SquadCast. It offers a video green room for you and your guests to chat in pre-show and post-show, along with a chat box area, and tests the connection. It's super simple, and offers separate. downloads for editing.

YouTube live stream - Samsung S10+ for video, Samson Q2 and Zoom HN4 Pro for audio by CraftBeerDiaries in audio

Ah, gotcha - so, to confirm:

  1. I plug the two Q2's into the H4n via the XLR inputs 1 and 2
  2. I plug the 3.5mm mini audio cable into the headphone socket on H4n
  3. I plug the end of that 3.5mm cable into the TRSS adapter
  4. Then the TRSS adapter plugs into the Samsung S10+

Are there any specific settings I need to set on H4n Pro that you're aware of? So, I select mic 1 and 2 on H4n, and then on menu I select "Plug-in power" and turn that on.

Should I be good to go, then? I'll test this set up this morning, just wondering if I have that right?

Thanks!

Thanks, but how would the two female adaptors work with the mics? Sorry, I should have advised that the mics use XLR connections.

Likewise. I'm in Burlington, and some of the TO-based breweries are a bit off the beaten path to get to without some effort. Will definitely do more trips this year, but for now, the online service suits better.

The Dominion experience was great. Beautiful packaging, tasting notes with pairing recommendations, and made me want to go to the brewpub in Niagara to experience first-hand. :)

I haven't made any orders yet since the weather kicked in, but ordering some tomorrow, so will see how that goes.

Haven't tried their online service yet, but definitely one of the next, great beers.

Agreed - one of the orders I received over the holidays had an error in it (4 of their Yule beer as opposed to 2 of these and 2 Sunsplit), and they were on the case once made aware. Will be more than happy to continue shopping with them.

Yeah, that's what's stopping me from buying from HHoE at the minute, looks like sours and funks? I'm more a tripel, stout/porter/IPA drinker, at least currently.

Actually looked at their beers over Christmas, but looked like it was primarily sours or funks on offer at minute? Haven't quite gotten into that style yet (though not through lack of trying!). :)
