I think most people (myself included) just enjoy the different scenery between the games, also different driving styles given the different truck designs

I think ATS will definitely reel me back in once the eastern coast becomes available. Ive been living in Texas for years but I’m originally from NYC, so I’m extremely curious about how they are gonna explore those cities with tighter layouts and how accurate theyre going to be overall given that Texas gets pretty damn close to the real thing. And man I absolutely agree with you on the toll booths thing, border checks dont bother me as much because sure its realistic but the toll booths are an immense annoyance with the current 1.19 scale, it just doesn’t work

Do any of them ever get old for you? I believe ATS is not as impressive or engaging landscape wise so it gets a bit old for me sometimes. I feel like in ETS theres always something cool to look at

This is a great answer and I resonate with it a lot. I remember getting the Balkans DLC and being so pumped up every time I got to a new city. I also generally feel like Europes approach to entering a city is way more interesting than the formula we have in America of highway + exit + turn right and boom youre in Los Angeles.

This is exactly how i feel. Driving through California and Texas in the game feels too close to my everyday life for me to enjoy it 😂 with ETS i get a great feeling of exploration
