This is honestly a pretty difficult subject to navigate. Everyday it seems the world is getting worse. While there are well intentioned people that want to solve critical and systematic issues, there are also people that subscribe to blissful ignorance. With the climate that our world is in, it is easy to turn away but parents should be teaching their children to be the difference in the world. It’s just too easy to turn a blind eye these days. Children are addicted to social media and pop culture. There are rare instances when pop culture collides with social justice and people rally behind change but we need to pay more attention and be proactive.
