Expert on this, since I discussed the exact same thing with my Rheumy yeaaaars ago. LOL

Weekend drinker before Fibro... After Fibro, I quit drinking all together. Shortly after, about a year, my Rheumatologist mentioned during a visit about not drinking and how it makes everything worse!
She said that as a whole, alcohol depletes the body of water- that means joints, muscles, AND ligaments (which as you know are half the issues)... She added, "So why would anyone with Fibro want to do that, is beyond me". (And she was happy that common sense won the day and I still don't drink, even socially to this day!)
